Hello!
My name is Steve and I‘ve only recently discovered the joy of First World War avaiation. I also like to made model aircraft. I‘m looking for recommendations for some sort of introductory book (or books) that can help me understand some fundamentals of First World War avaiation. So, for example, information on British vs German rigging approaches, how lozenge was used and applied, the technicalites of flying planes of that period, parts of a plane and their function – that kind of thing.
Can anyone recommend a suitable text?
thanks,
Steve
