Hi
Looking for details of the Aircraft which crashed 22.8.1917 at Hounslow, killing Cpt John E. D. Neale ex 4th bat Leicestershire regiment and Lt Cleland Hollamby
Would like to know the aircraft type, serial no and who was the pilot at the time of the crash, also would like to now where he is buried.
Cpt Neale was a local man – living quite near to where I now live.
thanks in anticipation.

Neale was the pilot/instructor but was not necessarily in control
Lt DM Cleland-Hollamby was pupil
CWGC has Neale buried at LEICESTER (WELFORD ROAD) CEMETERY O. “C.” 2965.
They list Hollamby as just Douglas Hollamby, buried HESTON (ST. LEONARD) CHURCHYARD E. 21.There is a casualty card in the RAF Museum Archive
Both were with 19TS (18 Wing)
Accident took place at 7am on Staines Rd. Hounslow
Aircraft had 90hp RAF engine 22924WD98210/10/2018 16:57:00 #2023081777656452Paul BardellParticipantAndrew
