ParticipantPlease could someone tell me where all the aircraft went to when a squadron was reduced to cadre status in 1919?
Many thanks for any help you can give in this matter.

Participant89 and 91 Wings were formed to administer demob units
89 was at Avesnes with 1 and 8 squadrons
91 was at St Omer was 13,32, 35, 98, 102, 151, 152 and 203 squadrons
Aircraft were handed to these squadrons and a decision was made on their future
In other cases the machines were reduced to produce by the disbanding squadron (i.e. Camels F1987, F2148, F6424 and F2159 of 54Sq, etc.)Some example orders (Jan 23-26th):
54Sq will fly their machines to Liettres and hand them to 151Sq
65Sq will fly their machines to Liettres and hand them to 151Sq
108Sq will fly their machines to Alquines and hand them to 98Sq
204Sq will fly their machines to Boisdinghem and hand them to 203Sq
85Sq will fly their machines to Serny and hand them to 32Sq26/01/2019 11:57:00 #2023081777656496David Seymour

ParticipantI think that specific squadrons dealt specific types, and their associated aircrew. DH9s went to 98 Squadron.
