An RNAS pilot I am researching was posted to Isle of Grain, Air Department N1 Section in September 1917.
What were the duties of this unit?
The pilot in question (Jeffrey Day) appears to have done some undefined test or trials flying as well as a number of delivery and/or stores collection flights. He was posted to 13(N) at St Pol in December, so the posting may have been a fill in.
