I am currently helping construct a couple of wooden full-size versions of the 65lb HERL to sit alongside a forthcoming aircraft display at Hooton Park Trust in the UK. These are now nearing completion and I am looking for some advice regarding the paint colours used on bombs such as the 65lb HERL – specifically the shade of yellow that the main body of the bomb was painted (RAL or BS equivalent?).

Also, does anyone have a drawing of the No 1. nose fuse fitted with the arming vane as we would like to 3D print one of these to enhance the display?
