I’ve been compiling a roll of men who served in the ranks of the South African Aviation Corps and 26 (South African) Squadron R.F.C.
These men had service numbers prefixed with the letter ‘Z’, from Z/1 to the Z/600’s.
I’ve extracted information from various sources, including RAF Airmen and Officer Service Records, the CWGC, London Gazette, Army Service Records, RNAS Service Records, Hospital Records, South African War Graves Project, Medal Index Cards and Rolls, Pension Records and various websites and books.
If anyone can add to my roll, or point me in the direction of further records to consult, I would be most grateful.
Thanks,
Rob. - AuthorPosts
