This month our Branch have a special Talk which may be of interest to C & C members. ??othing Spectacular?? the RFC/RAF career of Capt. ??ormie??Dimmock of 46 Squadron 1915-19. Presented by his son John, the talk will be illustrated with photographs taken from his photo album and will incorporate his father?? own words taken from letters and reminiscences.
Please note that the first 15 minutes or so of this Meeting will be devoted to the Branch AGM; so sit on your hands to ensure you don?? get elected??LEFT|br />
We meet in the theatre at St Peters Collegiate School, Compton Park, Compton Rd. West, Wolverhampton WV3 9DU. Doors open at 2.00, with proceedings beginning at 2.30pm. If visiting us by car, please approach from the A454 Compton Road West, and follow the road along for about 800 yds or so; the school is on the right, past the Wolverhampton Wanderers FC Training Ground. We park in the Staff Car Park, which is the third entrance onto the site – almost at the end of the road; you??l think you??e gone too far, but you haven??.
We serve the best free cakes of any WFA Branch (probably…). Don’t forget to drop a couple of quid into the tin to help cover costs; it might even make the Branch Treasurer happy.
