I must admit I needed to look in Jack Bruce’s masterwork to find out what a BE 10 was and it seems that he may have been responsible for this confusion, having attributed both of the above batches to A2554A (MA3). JB’s description only runs to a few lines and he does reveal the nickname given to the part-built machine but I mustn’t pre-empt Paul’s article.
