I am researching the RNAS and RAF anti-submarine war in 1917 and 1918 in the north of Scotland. I have some information about patrols from RAF Houton and RAF Catfirth, where the documents and reports mention sea areas which were divided into letters and numbers, eg: Area 76B, Area 59L etc.
Does anyone have a map or diagrams in a book which might show where these areas were situated? If anyone has them in a book, a scan or photo would be very welcome….I just want to see where they are.
