According to Who’s Who in Aviation for 1936, Kennedy was born 20.8.1869,was Assistant Director Supplies RFC/RAF 1917-1923, latterly Hon Treasurer of the RAeS (of which he was a Fellow), and lived at Sweethorpe Cottage, Penn, Bucks c1936.

I assume that he retired from the RAF as an Assistant Director and his wartime appointment (for which he received the OBE) was in a junior post. Anyone know which department ?
